From Product Brief to Bulk Production
A custom silk order moves from brief to bulk only when each product decision and approval is clear.
- Brief first: product, material, dimensions, artwork, quantity and target date
- Standard sample: the normal lead time is 5–7 days once its inputs are complete
- Standard bulk production: normally 15–20 days after approval
Four Checkpoints That Keep the Order Moving
Each checkpoint needs specific information or approval before the next begins.
1. Product Brief
Define the product, material, dimensions or fit, artwork, quantity, packaging and target date.
2. Sample
Check material, color or print, dimensions, construction and brand details on a physical reference.
3. Approval
Record the approved sample, specification version, final quantities, labels and packaging.
4. Bulk & Packing
Make, check and pack the order against the approved reference and order requirements.
What Happens at Each Stage
The sequence shows what ElaraSilk reviews and what the buyer needs to approve.
1. Send a Complete Brief
Use one row per product or SKU and mark any decision that is still open.

2. Review Feasibility and Quote

3. Develop the Sample
Standard sample time is 5–7 days after the inputs needed for that sample are confirmed.

4. Approve One Production Reference
Approval must point to the exact sample and specification version used for bulk production.

5. Plan and Make the Bulk Order
Standard bulk production is 15–20 days after approval. Product mix, quantity, process and factory load still affect the schedule.

6. Check and Pack
Quality checks and packaging are completed in-house against the approved reference and order requirements.
