How ElaraSilk Handles Website Information

1. Information You Choose to Send

ElaraSilk receives information when you contact the company by email or WhatsApp. This may include your name, company, contact details, country, product requirements, quantities, dimensions, artwork, logo files, color references, label and packaging requests, target dates, and other information included in the conversation.

Do not send payment-card details, passwords, government identification, or other sensitive personal information unless an appropriate business process has first been confirmed.

2. How Inquiry Information Is Used

Information may be used to answer an inquiry, understand the requested product, review artwork or specifications, prepare a quotation, discuss samples, maintain project records, plan an accepted order, communicate about production or delivery, and answer later questions about the project.

3. Website Data, Cookies, and Tracking

As of the effective date, this website has no on-site inquiry form, file upload, user account or online checkout. Its code does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies and does not include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or a comparable advertising tag.

A hosting or network provider may still create technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, time and security events. If a form, analytics service, consent tool, embedded service or advertising tag is added, this policy must be reviewed before that feature is used.

4. Email, WhatsApp, and Service Providers

Email messages pass through the email services used by the sender and ElaraSilk. If you choose WhatsApp, you also use a separate service whose own terms and privacy policy apply.

Website hosting, email, messaging and file-storage providers may process limited information to provide their services. Their locations and retention practices depend on the provider and account in use.

5. When Information May Be Shared

Project information may be handled by people who need it for quotation, sampling, production, quality checks, packing, delivery or customer communication. It may also be shared with a service provider when needed for those tasks, to meet a legal duty, or to protect the rights of ElaraSilk, a customer or another person.

Public use of a customer name, logo, artwork or project detail requires separate permission.

6. Retention

Inquiry and project records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to answer the inquiry, prepare or perform an order, keep sample and approval history, support repeat production, meet accounting or legal duties, resolve a dispute, or protect legitimate business records.

The period depends on whether a message remains a general inquiry or becomes part of a quotation or order. Some records may need to be retained after a deletion request where a legal duty, order, claim or security need applies.

7. Security and Confidential Project Files

ElaraSilk takes reasonable steps to limit access and protect project information, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. Before sending confidential artwork or commercially sensitive files, ask the team to confirm an appropriate transfer and approval method.

8. Your Privacy Requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of information linked to your inquiry, or ask how it has been used. ElaraSilk may need enough information to confirm the requester and locate the relevant records.

9. International Communications

ElaraSilk is based in China and communicates with international B2B contacts. Email, WhatsApp and related service providers may process or store information in countries other than your own. Choose a contact method suitable for the information you plan to send.

10. Business Audience and Children

This website is intended for business inquiries about custom silk products and is not directed to children. ElaraSilk does not knowingly invite children to submit personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has contacted the company may use the privacy-request email above.

11. Policy Changes

This policy will be updated when the website's data-collection features, business contact routes or relevant practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
