Set the Proportion Before Mapping the Artwork
A flat print can move into a fold, knot or back section. Approve the dimensions, internal build and artwork on one finished tie.
Define the Full Width Profile
Do not specify only the widest point. Record the blade, body, neck section and smaller blade.
Slim Profile
Define the main blade, transition, neck section, smaller blade and finished length.
Classic Profile
Use a measurement sheet or reference tie to set the balance at several points.
Buyer-Specified Profile
Send your own dimensions and note the knot, collar, wearer range or box that must be considered.
Approve the Internal Build with the Outer Silk
The tie surface and inside must be sampled together.

Select the weave, momme, color or print for the required appearance. - Interlining
Choose it with the tie dimensions, fold and target finished hand. - Construction
Approve the fold, closing seam, ends and finished thickness on the sample.
Map Artwork to the Finished Tie Sections
Review design placement after folding, sewing and knotting.

Set logo, stripe or motif scale, direction and visible position. - Knot and neck
Mark what may enter the knot, fold or collar area. - Small blade
Define its artwork, direction and relationship to the back seam.
Specify Back Details, Labels and Packing
Finish the reverse side and package from the approved sample.

Confirm the fold, single or set assortment, pouch, paper box or gift box.
Check the Tie Flat, Hanging and Knotted
One view cannot confirm the finished proportion and design position.
